Helping people in relationships discover effective ways to manage whatever life throws at them.

It can feel tough to deal with when too much is happening in life. Most people who start relationship or couples counselling feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe your days begin to blur together, or you feel like you want to escape your life.

Stuck in negativity and feeling hopeless, you may feel like your life is being wasted on being unhappy.

Have lost the joyful feelings that you used to have in life.

It's possible to feel better.

When Experience Matters the Most

Build the loving relationships you've always wanted.

Imagine a life where you could...

Feel safe and secure in your relationship.

Have the intimacy you want with your partner.

Have the respect each of you deserves.

Learn about and understand unhealthy dynamics and how to change them.

Shift into a more positive and hopeful outlook on life.

Get to the root problems and solve those instead of using band-aids.

Establish healthy communication to effectively manage conflict when it arises
.
Have the loving relationships you've always wanted.

Be excited about the future once again.

Over the past 14 years, I've helped numerous couples on the edge of breaking up rediscover what drew them together in the first place - what they liked and loved; helped them see beyond the current frustrations and obstacles. Through reconnecting, communicating, and rebuilding the foundation, couples have been able to heal, establish trust, get the spark back, and fall in love again.

Relationship and couples counselling helps you rise above your challenges and start moving toward your ideal life with less fighting and more loving.

Rise Above.

You will get the practical skills to find your way through complicated feelings and situations and feel safer and secure in your relationship.

You will become stronger, more confident and better equipped to address unhealthy patterns and painful dynamics.

I will start with helping you address immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations. I will provide you with impactful yet straightforward strategies to make changes immediately.

Through hearing your stories, I will start to get a picture of what your relational challenges are.

First, I conduct a thorough intake process with each person in the relationship - this may consist of 1 or more sessions. This is a critical first step to establishing rapport and trust in me and the process and ensures I thoroughly understand each person's individual concerns and what they want from the process. This assists me in providing an accurate assessment of your needs and will inform the goals for counselling or therapy.

How Relationship Counselling Works

Relationship Counselling consists of 60 or 90-minute sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, I will ask questions and guide you towards solutions; I play an active role.

Here's how it will work step-by-step

step One

Throughout our sessions, you will start progressing towards the relationship you want and deserve.

Keeping your unique goals in mind, we'll figure out what's needed to help you reach them.

We will also work to discover your goals in therapy and look at the bigger picture of your life together.

step Six

• Do you find yourself short on time?
• In a crisis situation?
• Need to see results more quickly?
• Have a complicated schedule?
• Or just find it challenging to attend weekly sessions consistently?

I offer couples intensives where we can book a block of time over a series of back-to-back days to tackle and actively address your relationship struggles. Please note: I reserve the right to assess and consider each situation on a case-by-case basis to determine if an intensive process is appropriate. Not all relationship issues are suitable for this approach.
